It, therefore, is no surprise why people become instantly captivated by his personality and skills. Following the release of his latest single, “Sentirte,” Cone proved to listeners that his sound and production cannot be confined to one genre. He is currently making a name for himself in a competitive industry while still managing to remain true to his roots as both a person and artist. In an exclusive interview with CelebMix, Harrison Cone opened up about his latest single, fans and more.

What or who inspired you to become interested in music?

My Mom and Dad were in a band together before I was born.  My dad is a professional guitar player who taught me to play guitar and piano and my Mom was a singer/songwriter who wrote songs with my Dad. They both inspired me. As far as music production, watching this movie called We are Your Friends with Zac Efron where Zac’s character was a DJ/music producer and finding this album by Metro Boomin’ and 21 Savage where the producer’s name was right next to the artist’s name on the cover made me become interested in researching music producing. That album and movie changed my life.

What can you tell us about your latest single ‘Sentirte’ and its message or overall theme?

Thanks for asking! “Sentirte” is a Pop/Urbano Latino dance song that was inspired by my first romantic relationship as a teenager and by my Hispanic heritage on my Dad’s side. I wanted to write honestly about love and lust from a teenager’s perspective and all [of its] intense feelings. I wrote it in English and Spanish to convey the romantic sexy vibe I was feeling.

You have an incredible fan base! What is it like to have such a strong support system across social media?

I think I am working on growing my fan base and that I have a modest following so far because I’m just getting started in my career– thanks for the positivity and support!

Speaking of fans, for people who may have just discovered your music, what do you want them to know about you?

I’m all about working hard in my studio and to develop as an artist. I love my fans and their positive messages help keep me going. It takes a lot of time to write the music, produce, sing and mix and master my songs, but I love the creativity, doing it myself and always learning more.

If you could collaborate with any artist or band in 2020, who would it be and why?

Well, since this song was inspired by Urbano Latino pop music and I love listening to artists like Bad Bunny and J Balvin and A. Chal, I would love for them to hear it and want to collaborate [with me]. I also love Charlie Puth and Donald Glover because they are so well rounded as artists and I aspire to be that way, so it would be cool to work with them [too]. I love so many [other artists too], but Post Malone, Justin Bieber and YungBlud to name a couple more.

What is one accomplishment you are proud of achieving thus far in your career?

I’m proud that I produce myself as an artist because I have total artistic freedom. I’m proud that I always work hard to keep developing as an artist and have a thirst to keep growing and keep learning everything I can about production!

What can fans look forward to in the near or distant future?

More songs that I write and produce myself.  They can keep watching me grow as an artist. I love and appreciate their support so much. I also hope to perform more.
