Tori Spelling is Proud of Husband

There’s happy news from the house of Spelling. Former 90210 star Tori Spelling and her husband of eight years, Dean McDermott, have been going through a bit of marital discord. However, according to Spelling, the couple is working through their issues and their relationship is taking a turn for the better. It’s always good news when professional help works to keep a marriage alive. While unfortunate news and scandal has rocked their marriage for months now, Spelling is happy to see something positive about her marriage, and she was eager to share her good news with her fans via her website earlier this week.

“As all of you know, our family has been through a lot this year. I’m happy and proud to say that we are doing really well, and Dean and I are working very hard to make our relationship and our family better than ever. I’m proud of Dean for all the hard work he’s been doing on himself,” she continues on her website. The sad tale of his infidelity and their struggle to overcome what it’s done their relationship is well documented on their reality television show, but the couple is still working through the aftermath of their troubles.

The fact that the Spelling/McDermott family includes four small children is likely a contributing factor to their desire to work through their differences rather than going a different route. Their children are Liam, Stella, Hattie and Finn, who are 7, 6, 2 and 1. News that the couple’s relationship is on the mend was apparent earlier this summer when Spelling told reporters that, “We’re doing okay. It’s something that’s going to take time to get through,” about her marriage and the state of her family affairs.
